I was visiting this woman:

She owned an apartment in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, and was in the process of stripping of a ton of paint from the walls and ceiling of her place. Of course, underneath all that paint was this beautiful oak panelling.

She’s spent thousands on expensive stripper to do the work.

Her husband, oddly, looked a bit like this guy:

Suffice to say, we need this renovation project done so I can stop dreaming about paint removal.

I wish I was better skilled.

I was a scout once too. It was a good thing for me, and for my straight friends too. These crazy bigots are spewing nothing but hate speech and the most un-Christian things they can possibly think of. I still don’t understand why gay/straight is even a thing anymore. Why can’t we be post-sexual identity now?

This seems a bit much...

So, I just started the process of consolidating my student loans (though, I’ve got some time yet before I need to finalize my application).

I just got a screen of information that was rather eye-opening.

I owe a total of $132k in student loans. If I do a standard repayment plan, by the end of the loan, I will have paid a total of $257k. That’s almost double of what my initial loan was. Almost.

If I do the extended repayment plan, it jumps up to $279k total paid at the end of the loan.

Each of these loans have a repayment period of 30 years.

I know why I became an English major…math is not my strong point.
